A Wellness Camp for the Women
On the occasion of the International Women’s Day on March 8, 2022 Vijay Social Welfare Society in association with The Prestige Institute of management and research, Department of Law organized a wellness camp for the women of the Shanti Nagar slums, in this program all the women discussed about health and personal hygiene. Women’s health related queries were resolved by Dr Deepa Shrivastava. Covid warriors Babita Sharma and Madhu Shrivastava were felicity at the event, more than 250 women participated in the program and sanitary napkins were distributed free of cost to women at the end of the program. The women of the year Mangla Award 2022 was given to Smt.Veena Mandloi’s selfless work for the development of women.Co-founder of Vijay social Welfare Society who graced the occasion were way Ms Ritupriya Gurtoo, Ms. Swati Rai, Ms. Shrinkhala Swaroop, Ms. Avisha, Udita Rajkotia, Jay Sawaliya, Vidushi Sanger, Gopal and Hamendra Sharma. A Self Defense Workshop was conducted by Mr. Vikas Sharma, Vikram Awardee ,Fitness enthusiast and a self-defense trainer. He is also an International karate player who represented the Indian team in Asian games, 2010 and a National Campion for 12 years. Vice President MMA Indian National federation at Krishnapura chhatri, Indore for Children and Women. Thanks to Akhil Bhartiya Brahman Maha-Sabha Mahila ikai ,Indore for organizing this event in association with VSWS.
