To promote the use of cloth bags instead of plastic, VSWS supports the #maihujholadhari project, which advocates for traditional cloth bags, or “Jholas.” The project gained momentum with the involvement of Mr. Shankar Lalwani, Member of the Lok Sabha, who discussed and supported this initiative with Madhavi. #Let’s do good.
Under the “Environmentally Consentaneous Ganeshotsav 2019,” jointly organized by the Municipal Corporation, Indore, and the Water and Pond Conservation Society Indore, temporary eco-friendly pools were installed at approximately 80 locations across the city for idol immersion.
