11 June, 2025, VSWS organized an impactful session led by Mrs. Madhuri Moyde for 35 women in Niranjanpur, focusing on self-employment, financial literacy, and personal safety. The interactive discussion helped identify areas of interest for future skill-based workshops, while alsoinforming participants about upcoming training and a cancer awareness session.
The Menstrual Hygiene Management Program was held for cotton pluckers in Somakhedi, Madhya Pradesh. Many participants, despite being in their 40s, had limited knowledge about menstruation and their own bodies. The session was both enlightening and engaging, featuring talent showcases and interactive discussions. The participants appreciated the information shared and enjoyed the time spent together….
We had a fulfilling day at Dheeraj Nagar Aanganwadi, where we distributed poshan aahar, toys for young children, and a weighing machine for pregnant women. Let’s continue to spread happiness and support those in need! #WCD #MPGovt #Happiness #LetsDoGood
In collaboration with the Nyaya Bandhu Scheme, VSWS hosted a legal aid and vocationaltraining camp to promote women’s rights and self-reliance. A sewing machine was donated tosupport income generation through tailoring
VSWS, along with partner organizations, conducted a hands-on seed ball makingworkshop at Brilliant Convent School, Indore. Volunteers and students learned how to createseed balls using soil and native seeds—a sustainable skill that promotes environmentalrestoration and community engagement. The initiative planted not just seeds in the soil, but alsoideas for green livelihoods and eco-conscious action.
Under the Sankalp initiative, Mangla Self-Help Group participated in the “Local to VocalAtmanirbhar Utsav Mela” (6–8 Oct 2025), showcasing handmade Diwali décor and ethnic crafts.Women entrepreneurs confidently managed stalls, promoting self-reliance and economicempowerment. The event was inaugurated by Honorable MP Shri Shankar Lalwani ji, addingprestige to this celebration of local talent.
